Pepper Raccoon is a fairly feral artist based in the Far North of Aotearoa New Zealand.
She is a talented traditional watercolour and ink painter, as well as a skilled digital artist. With over a decade of experience under her belt, she's created art products that have been featured in international publications such as the Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, the Nerdist, and more.
She lives in a tiny cabin/caravan arrangement with her partner Peter on their block of land in a remote part of Northland. Together, they work to regenerate the native bush and grow food sustainably to sustain themselves responsibly. This work has inspired her art, and she also draws inspiration from nature, animals, and the wider world of food and culture.
When she's not drawing, she's out surfing, hiking, napping, or chasing her ducks around.
